After a week of good waves it got small but the weather was amazing. We got invited to go fishing on our friends boat and while we were getting ready saw a few waves and grabbed our boards

I am currently home and the next blog will be on being a tourist in sydney! Coming tommorow

WAVES!!!

Video I made from my road trip

Their were plenty of waves these past couple of days which has been great!
Wednesday the 12th was sick! I got to surf Supers for the first time. The wave is really heavy. I got worked a bunch and only made one wave! I also cut my head, cut my hand in 4 different spots, hit my elbow and ripped a hole in my wetsuit and got drug on my butt on the reef also ripping my wetsuit and getting a HUGE bruise on my butt! The level of riding that went down that day was incredible! Everyone got good ones but Glen, Max, and Grizz all stood out in my eyes. Max Arent gave me the best piece of advice out their "Don't ever hesitate and just go!" Chris James got a wave that will hands down be in my memory bank forever and be seen in all the new video and magazines!
I also got to surf another spot that same day with Glen Thurston and his brother to film with Liam for Movement TV. The waves were fun and it was just us out! I did not have my camera this day which was a bummer but I will try and see if I can get some framegrabs from both sessions (People are really busy so I hope they can make some time!)

The next day (13th) Eli had school so I met up with photographer Jem Creswell to get some shots and also surf with my friend Jas Finlay, Ewan Donachie, James Kates and Matt McCarthur. Ryan Mattick was also their! He made the FLUX dvd and was their filming for his next video project!

Flux was playing at the Beach Culture store while I was at the New Zealand Airport! How cool is that!!

The next day I got to go to Nuggen. I love that wave and so many good guys were out including Mitch Rawlins, Chad Jackson, Joe Clarke, etc... It was really hard to get a wave that day and to be in the right spot.

Road trip in OZ

I took a crazy road trip with Matt Ryan and Eli Beach for a couple days. With the waves not happening where we were we booked tickets and were off! We had a blast and got to do so many things it was like an amazing overload of fun stuff constantly I can't explain it but hopefully these pictures help out. (All bodyboarding shots were taken by Matt Ryan we saved the best ones for my sponsors and the magazines just so you know)
