I just got this e-mail from Jason Bitzer. He is the contest director for the USBA and always puts on a great event in his old stomping ground in New Jersey. The 2009 SCION Jenkinson's Pro is just around the corner and Marriott once again is giving huge hotel discount rates to our riders for ever pricey Holiday Weekend that surrounds Labor Day. Attached you will find an entry to this year SCION Jenkinson's Pro and below you will find your booking link to for USBA Riders and Family members with a discount rate of $59.00 per night (normal cost $120-$300 for holidays).

Check into the Jenks Pro will be August 31st at 7pm at the Courtyard Marriott in Redbank NJ. There will be a late entry for any beach entries to the event on a first come first serve basis!

Here is a shot of my friend Chris Dett who won the amateur event last year. He is a local lifeguard and all around good guy. Maybe a new school Mike Murphy! I mean he did spend a good time in Hawaii this year with his east coast friends. I got to stay with him last year and really looking forward to this year. He will definetley be a local favorite for the event!
